Kate and Jeremy invited some friends over for dinner last night. Kate teaches swimming lessons to their two kids. This is Annie holding Ayden. In fairness to Annie, Ayden was at meltdown status because he was hungry, not because she was holding him.

Welcome back... its been a while. Ayden's first trip on an airplane was uneventful according Kate. Here are a few photos I know you have all been waiting so patiently for.

Sundance Film Festival

Sundance was as great of a time, if not more, than I was hoping it would be. It was a whirlwind weekend, but we seemed to have packed in just about everything we wanted to do. I arrived Saturday morning to Salt Lake City and then took at shuttle to my Aunt Val and Uncle Mark's place in Park City, and as soon as I got there we hit the ground running. Below are a few pictures from the weekend. Mark, Val, and Nik saw two films on Friday and saw Robert Redford and Collin Farrell among others. Sunday morning we were able to see a world documentary called Up The Yangtze which turned out to be a great film. One that really makes you think. The director came and did a question and answer session after and it was very interesting. Thank you to the Hendersons for sharing a dream of attending the festival.

Bonus Post

Ok ya'll, today is your lucky day. A bonus post of Ayden :) Now, sadly this is going to have to tide you over until sometime next week. So sorry, especially for people like Carrie who openly admits to checking this multiple times a day. We are all dodging Yuma for two separate weekend adventures. Kate is braving the world and taking the little man on his first flight up to Las Vegas to meet up with Jeremy who has been there all week. I am heading up to Salt Lake City to see my Aunt Val, Uncle Mark and cousin Nik and to experience a lifelong dream of attending the Sundance Film Festival. I will make Kate promise many times before she leaves tomorrow afternoon to take photos of Ayden in Vegas (those should be interesting), and I'll meet ya all back here the middle of next week and fill you all in. Have a good rest of your week and weekend.

Jeremy has been out of town on and off for a bit now. So for the 14 hours he was home on Monday after being gone for the weekend, and before he left again for another week.... we had an Ayden and Daddy photo shoot. So here are a few pictures of the boys....

Just a couple for tonight

If you couldn't tell from the photos, Ayden is growing what seems like a couple ounces an hour. He went to the doctor on Monday and weighed in at 12 lbs. 11 oz. ! Not bad in two months and a few days. He was also measure about 24 inches long. Our little tanker - healthy in every way.

Ayden will randomly have tummy issues, and this is his favorite position to calm him down, on someones lap, in the rocking chair, legs dangling... heaven.
