The last two days Ayden has been a little bit more like himself, and Kate is "starting" to feel a bit better. So hopefully they will only feel like themselves again in the next few days.

Kate hasn't been feeling well the past three days, and up until yesterday evening, Ayden wasn't either, so here they are bonding in bed.

Ayden has finally learned to enjoy his baths... it took 2 weeks, but now that he gets to sit in the water, he is warm and content.

Oh, how a baby changes things. Here I am boiling new bottles - what else would we be doing on a Saturday morning?

Today was a restful day. We made the traditional big meal with turkey and ham, and have spent the rest of the day flipping between football and movies. It is 75 and sunny today, so it was a bit different than anything I have ever known to be on Thanksgiving day.

Even Ayden caught on to the traditions of eating and sleeping all day.

Florida or Bust

Thanks to the Bristol family Ayden is ready for a trip to Florida

He tried to close his eyes on me, but I caught him, a little dazed and confused, but I caught him.

Sorry for the delay of photos! Here are a few to tide you over, and I will try and get some good ones tonight. This going back to work thing is a bummer when all I really want to do is take pictures to share with you all. Anyway, just a few random ones with Ayden, and the other three are of my parents when they came to visit my classroom on Tuesday. My dad taught a math lesson, and motivated the kids with a math game, and my mom brought with her a great book to read to the kids about Lake Superior. It was so fun to have them in the room with me and the kids, and the students loved the distraction from the normal Tuesday afternoon. :) I will try and get some more photos of Ayden posted tonight.
