Nana and Papa head East

Nana and Papa where in AZ for most of the winter this year.  They got to be true AZ "snowbirds" and they couldn't have been more help if we wished.  It was so much fun to have them around for the day-to-day things like soccer, bed times, and "after school" conversations around the dinner table.  We all were sad to see them go, but we are counting our blessings for the extra help during this deployment.  They couldn't leave without some family pictures.  Here are a few we came up with.

Rescue Helicopters

The Yuma Air Show was this weekend.  Ayden was in his glory when he got to climb in and explore a real rescue helicopter.  They even had a mannequin in the basket to represent a victim.  From the hours of 10-5 that day, he didn't stop asking questions about how everything works.  He is so curious.
