Well, my roommates have returned. I had some surprises ready for Ayden when he got home since I had missed his birthday. For all the money that family has spent on gifts for this little guy... the balloons were the hit. I'm telling you, empty boxes, balloons, and tupperware is really the only things needed to impress a one year old.
And why not have a semi - birthday party at 5:30 in the morning when EVERYONE is up because *someone* is on east coast time and ready to party. I think we set a record for earliest present opening.
Note that everyone is still in pajamas... it may as well have been Christmas morning
And you can't have enough bath toys
Or things that make loud noises
The blue sugary mess to come later today, we thought we would let the sun come up first.

Looks like our little buddy had a fantastic birthday! I must say that was the most colorful face mess I have ever seen. Looks like he ate the candle, too! Enjoy...Enjoy every single day. As you see, those days fly by!
