After several months of being selected for Major, we weren't sure of when the promotion was actually going to take place. In fact we found out Friday afternoon for a Monday morning *pinning.* After the two and a half minute ceremony, I took Jeremy out to a 5 course lunch at Andy's (hamburger diner on base) to celebrate. I know, I know, we celebrate in *STYLE!*

Jeremy,
We are so proud of all that you do for our country and for your family. Congrats on the promotion you certainly deserve to be called MAJOR.
Love Ed & Mary
Major Osborne.... We are all proud of you. Lucky for me, I get to celebrate with you here in Yuma. Glad to have some family around and have reasons to celebrate. Thanks for posting pictures Kate.
Major Osborne, we are more than proud of you! Who would have thought that my little puddle hopping, puppy stealing (Jake & Digger),peewee football and soccer player would be wearing gold oak leaves on his shoulders! Well, I knew you were a special guy when they put your 9 lb. yelling self in my arms 32 years ago! We love you and you deserve all you have received! Mom
ps...Never fly faster than your guardian angel! Stay safe! Momtac
What an accomplishment at such a young age! Congratulations and so very many thanks for serving our country!!

p.s.
Kate, my class wrote letters to the editor after I read the letter you posted from a concerned mom. Would you be kind enough to send me the paper's address so I can send them to NC? Should be fun to see if they'll publish any of them.
Love, Judy
Judy... I love that idea. Although, I couldn't do it with my class... they would probably agree with the crazy mom thinking the snow would be harmful to them :) You tell those Michigan kids they are tougher than most!
Congratulations Major Osborne!!!
I SALUT YOU!!!! Can't wait to celebrate with you in style :-)
